An Overview
K & K Publishing, Inc. ("K & K Publishing," "we" or "us")
provides a variety of online services and products to its users on the
website currently located at www.onedialog.com K & K
Publishing is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of your
personal information, and providing a safe and secure environment for
our users.
The purpose of this K & K Publishing privacy policy (the
"Policy") is to help you understand what kinds of information we may
gather about you when you visit the Site, how we may use that
information, whether we will disclose it, and how you can correct the
information. Please note that by using the Site, you signify your
agreement with this Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this
Policy, please do not use the Site. Your continued use of the Site
after any changes to the Policy will mean that you have accepted the
changes; therefore please bookmark this page and review it frequently.

that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use
that information, and whether we will disclose it.
Please note that the Policy applies only to the Site and not to
other websites to which we link, or to advertisers on the Site. Your
use of the Site is governed by K & K Publishing's Terms and
Conditions and by other published rules pertaining to particular
products and services offered throughout the Site.
Children's Information
The Site is not directed toward children under thirteen years of
age. K & K Publishing does not knowingly collect personally
identifiable information from children under thirteen years of age. If
you are under 13 years of age, you should not register to become a
Member or provide any personally identifiable information through the
Site.
The Information We Gather
K & K Publishing collects information from you at several
different points on the Site in the manner set forth below. Whenever we
collect personal information, we will make an effort to include a link
to the Policy on that page.
K & K Publishing Registration
In order to use certain products and services on the Site, a user
must first become a K & K Publishing member ("Member"). During
registration and the subscription process you are required to give
information such as your name, e-mail address, zip code, and birth
date.
Optional Surveys
You may have the opportunity to participate in a number of surveys
on the Site. A pop-up survey may appear when you leave the Web Services
(defined below) sign-up area on the Site in which you will be asked to
provide feedback on our current service. Also, in connection with your
registration, users and Members may elect to participate in surveys (by
checking the appropriate box) in which you will be asked to provide
information such as your income level and education. We encourage you
to complete surveys so that we can provide you with a more personalized
experience on the Site.
Tell-A-Friend
If you elect to use the "Tell-A-Friend" referral service on the
optional survey for informing your friend(s) about the Site, we ask for
your friend's name(s) and e-mail address(es). K & K Publishing will
automatically send a one-time e-mail inviting your friend(s) to visit
the Site. We will store this information for the sole purpose of
sending this one-time e-mail.
Special Offers/Contests
Occasionally, K & K Publishing may send Members information on
special Member-only offers, Site updates, K & K Publishing Store
specials and contests. K & K Publishing presents the option to not
receive these types of communications and to opt out of participating
in any contest. We will not share your contest information with any
third party, except in aggregate form. In addition, if and when we
sponsor contests or other promotions, or third parties sponsor such
promotions in conjunction with us, either we or the third party will
post relevant privacy information in the official rules and/or
registration area for the sweepstakes or promotion. That privacy
information, to the extent it conflicts with this Policy, will govern
that particular contest-please remember to read it carefully.
Message Board and Chats
We provide a message board and chats on the Site for subscribers to
discuss topics relating to spirituality. Please note that information
you post to a message board or chat, including your profile
information, will be available for any user of that service to read,
and is therefore no longer private. K & K Publishing owns the
rights to publish message board posts in other formats.
Cookies
In our effort to provide you with services customized to your
interests, we use "cookies" to assist in the collection of information.
A cookie is a small data file containing information such as a user's
login name that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on
your computer's hard drive. We use cookies to: access your account
information (stored on our computers) in order to deliver better and
more personalized services; estimate our audience size for our
advertisers; identify which areas of the Site you have visited; and
prevent users from voting in polls more than once, all as part of K
& K Publishing's efforts to streamline your experience on the Site.
Tracking information such as cookies is also used to create aggregate
reports on user demographics and Site traffic patterns, and then is
provided to our advertisers and partners enabling them to better target
their advertisements to our Members and other users. We also collect IP
(Internet Protocol) addresses to analyze trends, administer the Site,
track a user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for
aggregate use.
How We Use The Information That We Gather
K & K Publishing uses information obtained from its Members and
other users as stated in this Policy and to enhance Members' and other
users' experiences on the Site. K & K Publishing does not rent,
sell, or share personal information about you with other people or
non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you
have requested, when we have your permission, or under the following
circumstances:
We provide the information to K & K Publishing partners who work
on behalf of or with K & K Publishing under confidentially
agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help K
& K Publishing or its partners to communicate with you about offers
from K & K Publishing and our marketing partners. However, these
companies do not have any independent right to share this information
with other parties.
We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to
establish or exercise out legal rights or defend against legal claims.
We believe it is necessary to share information in order to
investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities,
suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical
safety of any person, violations of K & K Publishing's terms and
conditions, or as otherwise required by law.
Disclosure of Personal Information in the Event of Merger or Sale of Assets
K & K Publishing, or its related entities, could merge with or
be acquired by another business entity, or all or substantially all of
their respective assets could be acquired. Should such a combination,
acquisition or transaction occur, you should expect that
K & K Publishing would share some or all of your personal
information with the acquiring or merged entity to continue serving you
and other users of the Site.
Co-branded and Other Affiliated Sites
Certain information or services offered or provided on or through
the Site from time to time may be provided on or through other sites
operated by or in conjunction with third party providers (Partners).
These sites may have the same look and feel of the Site, and are often
cobranded, such that a Partners logo or name may appear on the site, or
the Partners name may appear in the URL. Aggregate or personally
identifiable information collected about you on these sites may be
shared by K & K Publishing with that Partner. A Partner will not
rent, sell, or disclose any of your personally identifiable information
to third parties unless you consent to its doing so, for example, by
opting-in while on a particular site to receive information or offers
from a Partners affiliates, partners, or other third parties.
Third Party Links and Member Websites
You acknowledge that we do not monitor, control or endorse the
information collection or privacy practices of any third parties,
including but not limited to Member Websites, any co-branded or other
affiliated sites which may or may not be owned or operated by or in
conjunction with K & K Publishing, or any credit card order
processors, product shippers or other third parties who provide
services throughout the Site. While we may set guidelines for
information collection and privacy practices of each Member Website and
may even engage in a certain degree of content screening, we exercise
no control over and are unable to police the information collection and
privacy practices of Member Websites. Accordingly, K & K Publishing
assumes no liability or responsibility for the information collection
and privacy practices of any Member Website or any third party. In
addition, K & K Publishing is not responsible for the content of
any Member Website or third party websites, including a third party's
use of any cookies or any other information (such as IP address,
browser type or operating system) collected when you "click-through"
links to their sites or view advertisements served by them. Even though
certain information collected by such third parties might not identify
you personally, we strongly encourage you to become familiar with their
privacy practices, and to contact such third parties if you have any
questions about their respective privacy policies.
In addition, the Site and Member Websites may provide links to other
Internet websites or resources ("Linked Sites"). K & K Publishing
neither controls nor endorses such Linked Sites nor have we reviewed or
approved any content that appears on such Linked Sites. You acknowledge
and agree that K & K Publishing is not responsible for the
legality, accuracy or inappropriate nature of any content, advertising,
products or other materials on or available from such Linked Sites. You
further acknowledge and agree that K & K Publishing shall not be
responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss
caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or
reliance on any such content, goods, and services available on or
through any such Linked Site.
Please keep in mind that whenever you participate in an online
message board, chat room or other forum or public area on the Site you
provide information that can be collected and used by others that you
do not know for the purpose of distributing unsolicited communications.
K & K Publishing cannot guarantee the security of such information
that you disclose online in public areas on the Site and Members and
other users do so at their own risk.
Security
The Site uses reasonable security methods to protect the data that
resides on our servers. However, no security system is impenetrable. K
& K Publishing cannot warrant or guarantee the security of its
servers, nor can it guarantee that information that Members supply will
not be intercepted while being transmitted to K & K Publishing over
the Internet. When our registration/order form asks users to enter
credit card numbers, that information is encrypted.
Canceling Your Subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time and receive a discount
for any remaining dialogues or magazine issues not received by visiting
our Customer Service Center.
Correction/Updating Personal Information
If your personally identifiable information changes (such as your
zip code), or if you no longer desire our service, we allow you to
correct, update or remove the personal data that you provided. This can
be done at the "Your Profile" page by clicking on the "Edit Your
Profile" button. Keep in mind, however, that there will be residual
information that will remain within K & K Publishing's databases,
access logs, and other records, which may or may not contain such
personally identifiable information.
You may also opt out of receiving our newsletters and/or promotional
information from K & K Publishing and/or from third parties
affiliated with K & K Publishing at any time by visiting our Customer Service Center.
